# 호랑이

19세기 말 메이지 시대에 고노 바이레이가 제작한 이 화조화 목판화는 웅크린 채 정면을 응시하는 호랑이의 강인하고 위엄 있는 자태를 세밀하고 직관적인 필치로 담아낸 작품입니다. 황금빛 털결과 날카로운 눈빛의 조화는 시각적인 압도감을 선사하며, 이를 마주하는 분들의 마음속 소극적인 태도를 대담하고 진취적인 용기로 전환해 줍니다.
