프랑스 인상주의의 위대한 스승이자 따뜻한 휴머니스트였던 카미유 피사로(Camille Pissarro)가 파리에 갓 정착하던 청년 시절인 1856년에 완성한 '돛단배가 있는 만(Crique avec voilier / Cove with Sailboat)'은 캔버스에 유채(Oil on canvas)로 제작된 귀중한 초기 명작입니다. 가로 53.5cm, 세로 35cm 크기의 이 작품은 카리브해와 베네수엘라 해안의 이국적인 서정을 담아냈으며, 현재 개인 소장처(Private Collection)에 소중히 보관되어 있습니다.
