# 버들과 물가

19세기 말 메이지 시대에 고노 바이레이가 제작한 이 화조화 목판화는 잔잔한 수변을 따라 자라난 버들가지와 엮인 울타리의 풍경을 절제된 선율과 은은한 채색으로 담아낸 작품입니다. 여백의 미가 돋보이는 화면 속 담담한 초록빛 결은 마음속 소음을 부드럽게 감싸 안으며 평온한 정서적 안정을 선사합니다.
